Meet Paul

Team Hutch is led by Paul Hutchinson, an accredited ethical journalist, editor, media professional and AI trainer, with more than 25 years’ experience across publishing, communications and digital content.

Paul’s background means we bring newsroom standards to business content: clarity, accuracy, fairness, and a proper respect for the reader’s time. He’s also obsessed with helping teams use AI well — not as a shortcut, but as a tool to work smarter and raise the bar for everyone.

Paul brings more than 25 years of experience in newsrooms and digital media. He has worked with award-winning broadcast news teams and co-founded an independent local newspaper.

He sits on the IMPRESS Code Committee and is among the UK’s first accredited ethical journalists. He has led digital campaigns for organisations of all sizes, spoken at industry events, including those run by Salesforce, CIPR and PINF, and supports his local community through roles with Bedford Hospital Charity and Friends, and the River Great Ouse Rotary Club.
